Question: Hi Doctor, my name is XXXX age 38 years, I had a slight giddiness when i was travelling and at that point of time my BP went upto 160/100 and was given an anxit 0.5 mg and after that the bp was normal. Since i was worried about this i have taken Echo, TMT and found that everything was normal. My cholesterol levels were at the border and my doctor said that it is a mere stress. Slowly i developed a neck pain and back pain and consulted with an ortho where the MRI of neck & Spine was taken and was found i have a bulge in C2 & C3 and also that my Vitamin D3 level is only 6.5 and was given 60000 iu supplement once a week plus calcimax k2 and Bio D3 Plus daily. But sometimes without anything my bp went up high and there was high palpitations and consulted a neuro where he said that i have BP and gave me amlong and metoprolol SR. Now i dont get that palpitations but still the neck pain and back pain is there and i have taken the vitamin D3 supplements for almost 2 months. Now i feel gastric problem and this make my pain worse. Still i feel light headed, eyes are tight, some kind of depression, neck pain & back ache. Feel so tired, I get a feeling of dizziness but actually not, am not active as i use to be some 2 months back. I get Knee Joint pain when i sit in office for long time. Right now i am on amlong, metoprolol, BioD3 Plus & Calcimax only.

Brief Answer:
problem might be due to cervical spondilitis and low calcium and Vitamin D3

Detailed Answer:
Hi, XXXX,
Thanks for posting query to HCM.
I read your detailed history and got idea about your problem and sufferings.
There are mainly two reasons which might be responsible for your problem.
As all cardiac reports are normal nothing to worry.
Your problem of having high blood pressure might be due to anxiety neurosis you are having.
But problem of having backache, body pain, neck pain is due to cervical spondilitis and law vitamin D3 level.
There might be having osteo-artheritis changes in your knee joint giving rise knee pain.
You are in right line of treatment of blood pressure and low calcium and vitamin D3, continue as per advice of your treating doctor.
Now what I suggest you is,
1, go for physiotherapy of cervical spine, knee joint.
2, go for short way diathermy.
3, if require and advised by your orthopedic surgeon, cervical traction.
This will give relief from your symptoms.
Now as you know the reasons of your problem and proper treatment is carried out, remove feeling of depression and anxiety which will give you more comfort.
I hope, I answered your query.
If you have further query or clarification, please write back.
Wish you speedy recovery.
