Brief Answer:
It's transient and would normalise withen a week

Detailed Answer:
Hello, I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern. .
The cortisone injection at the ankles shouldn't cause any problems you describe, however the epidural one where an anaesthetic agent is given for pain relief may result in all what you describe .
An allergic reaction to lignocaine will result in hives , shooting up of blood pressure and Bodyache . It should subside in a week , if persistent do consult your doctor to rule out any procedure related issues including infection .
( The rise in wbc is a natural reaction to cortisol and shouldn't be much of trouble )
If the blood pressure is less than 160 / 90 no treatment needed for same .
Plain paracetamol 650 mg should be taken on sos basis for symptoms .
