CRP test result is 49.2. at present she is having some infection in his vagina and compaling of itching
i want to know it is harmful thing of higher CRP levels . my baby and wife is safe ?
what to take care how to cure it.
CRP indicate acute infection and inflammation.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing me.
Facts about CRP( C-reactive protein)-
1) It only indicate acute infection and inflammation in your body( exact site not find out) or acute exacerbation of chronic condition.
2) It is not having any diagnostic tool
3) It is usually increase in third trimester of pregnancy( normal finding)
4) In pregnancy other causes like preeclampsia, preterm labour and intrauterine growth retardation also ruled out.
5) Level of CRP immediately increase in acute condition and suddenly become normal after treatment( it indicate that your treatment is effective)
6) In your case if level of CRP become normal after treatment then it indicate that your wife is responding to treatment
7) She can go for an ultrasound pelvis to see baby growth, amniotic fluid and baby well being.
8) Your wife blood pressure also checked - to rule out preeclampsia .
9) Problem is basically because of infection not because of CRP( it only indicate acute infection in your body)
Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to help you.
Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
