Brief Answer:
High ESR is due to low hemoglobin.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXX

Greeting from Dr. Divakara.P
First of all thanks for choosing Healthcaremagic for posting your query.

I went through your query and the reports . Your reports show that your Hemoglobin is slightly less and a low hemoglobin can cause a rise in ESR. Also ESR gets elevated during Infection ( Which you are having now ).

The cause for your low Hemoglobin seems like Iron deficiency, so start taking Iron tablets daily and repeat Hemoglobin after 3 months . Once your Hemoglobin increases your ESR comes to normal.

Are you still having fever after taking your doctor's medications ? If yes do let me know. I shall advise you for further tests.

Any clarification feel free to ask .

Brief Answer:
Get tested for Typhoid and Dengue.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXX

Just wait for one more day and if the fever persists you need to get tested for Typhoid and dengue. In fact in your doctor's prescription there is an advise for Typhoid test but in your uploaded reports there is no Typhoid test report.

Brief Answer:
Need to change Antibiotic.

Detailed Answer:
HI XXXX

Thanks for the follow up .

Went through your reports. A severe cough means you are either having Throat infection or infection of the lung.

The antibiotic you are taking will not be sufficient for Throat infection or infection of the lung. I advise you ask your doctor for a prescription of Azithromycin tablet and start using it .

Also do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.

Any clarifications feel free to ask .
