Brief Answer:
Supportive care is all that is required

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Dear Mr,

Fever in a child requires thorough assessment. One has to look for following systems
1. Respiratory : Cough, cold, running nose
2. Urinary System: Increased frequency of urine, excessive crying while passing urine
3. Skin: For rash
4. Gastro-intestinal: Loose motion, vomiting

In the absence of any specific system involvement, fever in a child is due to non specific viral infection. Aim of treatment is
1. Control temperature by antipyretics
2. Maintain hydration
3. Maintain nutrition

As antipyretic are already been given, continue giving them. The child should improve in 24-48 hours.

Do keep me updated about the progress of kid.

Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy life.

Take care
