Question : I am taking synthroid having side effect hives and itching .my doctor said
It is not the synthroid and continue to take it . What should I DO?

Good day.
Synthyroid is generally a safe drug and I have never heard it causing haves and symptoms suggestive of allergy. Any recent intake of foods like prawns or nuts? Any usage of new cosmetics?
Apart from itching and hives, any other symptoms like breathing difficulty and wheeze?
You may take an anti allergic drug like cetrizine or Pheneremine maleate. However if symptoms get any worse, it is better to consult your GP.
