Question : I have hives on the back of my hands as an allergic reaction to taking Tradjenta for type 2 diabetes. I ceased taking the drug this morning, but is there anything I can apply to my hands to help lessen the hives?

I have gone through your complaints.

To lessen the hives you can apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on the affected areas 2-3 times in a day and take antihistaminic like tablet Chlorpheniramine 4 mg once daily.
