What Causes Hives On The Body After Taking Heart Medication?

default
Posted on Tue, 11 Apr 2017
Question: I have hives that have been consistantly coming out every day old ones leave new ones come. I've been to the E.R, my doctor MD, a dermotogist, (who took biopsies 6), my heart doctor....
NO ONE KNOWS WHAT IT IS? Heart doc says reaction from medication. But I stopped taking medication 14 days ago? My significant other has no marks, no hives, the docs said bed bugs? We have a bone new mattress bed and box spring? New apartment new paint new everything? No bites on any one else? I'm miserable itching like crazy, going out of my mind.
If its the heart medication and water pill reaction? Ill attach list of medications

Brief Answer:
No, possibility of drug related reaction is less likely.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
No, possibility of drug related reaction is less likely.
Possibility of allergic etiology is more likely.
So get done absolute eosinophil count and serum IgE levels.
If these are elevated then possibility of allergic disease is more.
Please let me know if you had these tests done or not.
I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
