Posted on Mon, 19 Sep 2016
Question: I've had joint pain primarily in my ankles, but now in my hands and one wrist. Scratched my shin yesterday and it turned into unwarranted scratches. I now have what appears to by hives, on my lower legs and the top of my feet. There is little itching and they are not raised.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Healthcaremagic.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns. You need to be examined clinically in order to evaluate what you have described as hives and unwarranted scratches. However, as of now I would insist you to upload an image of the affected areas so that it would be easier for me to comment.

You may take cetirizine once daily for next few day. You may should also apply calamine lotion and some emollient/moisturizer like aloe vera lotion topically for relief. If it still persists, a medical consultation should be advisable.

I will await your response. Let me know if I could help further.
