Question : I woke up this morning with hollow sensation in both ears and an echo sensation. Little dizzy - not too bad ???
Brief Answer:
Ear examination, PTA, I / A.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. This can only be determined by an ear examination (to rule out ear wax or infection) followed by a PTA ( Pure Tone Audiometry ) and I / A ( Impedance Audiometry ).
2. If these are abnormal, steam inhalation and anti allergic decongestant medications will help.
3. If these tests are normal, vestibular neuritis should be ruled out. Other causes for dizziness should also be ruled out.
4. Upload the results of these preliminary screening tests for further assistance.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
