What Causes Hot Flashes After Tonsils Removal?

Question: I got my tonsils removed last Friday and I'm having hot flashes and if I leave my room I start to sweat, barely have any energy , can't stand longer than like a minute and when I try to eat I can eat a few bits but then I get sick to my stomach . Is this normal

It is common to have the above mentioned symptoms following tonsillectomy. It could be either due to the medicines you have been taking or reduction of blood in the body following the surgery or impending infection following surgery.

I would suggest you to consult your doctor to examine your throat for any sign of infection. Meanwhile, drink plenty of water and keep yourself hydrated.
