Brief Answer:
Low testosterone levels can cause hot flashes.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome to HealthcareMagic!

Hot flashes are not only a woman's problem.Men can experience hot flashes too. This is due to hormonal imbalance ,when the testosterone level drops .
In men's the level of testosterone start to decrease every year after the age of 40.

Thyroid dysfunction (hyperthyroidism ) can be another cause.
If you are experiencing hot flashes ,you may need to do some tests including Testosterone level and thyroid function tests (FT3,FT4 and TSH).

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you have any other question or doubt to clarify.I will be happy to assist you further.
