Question : my son is only 24, gets hot flashes, red skin on face and hands, sleeps in an extremely cold room, overheats easily and has been vomiting and coughing a lot lately. I'm wondering if these are all related.

The symptoms you have mentioned fit with hormonal disorders, especially hyperthyroidism. In hyperthyroidism, the thyroid gland produces excess hormones and it can cause most of these symptoms.
