I HAVE GERD AND THOUGHT THIS MIGHT BE AN ATTACK, BECAUSE THAT IS THE WAY I HAVE HAD GERD ATTACKS IN THE PAST. (There is also burning in my stomach.) Brief Answer:
lumbar spondylitis with compression neuropathy

Detailed Answer:

Hi
Thanks for your query

I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You may be having lumbar spondylitis with compression of nerves going to leg and foot as it is common in your age. It can be confirmed by x ray and MRI of lumbar spine. You can take ibuprofen for pain relief along with Omeprazole as you have gerd. Rest and Mecobalamine are helpful. Your burning in stomach is separate issue and may be related to gerd. For this Omeprazole on empty stomach may be of use.
You can discuss with your doctor about it.

Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.
