Question : my 16 year old son has been having abdominal pain and the Dr requested an ultra sounds which shows a mild degree of pelvicalcyeal separation with the renal pelvis measuring 12mm in diameter.
The conclusion stares a mild degree of right hydronephrosis, what does this mean and how is it treated/dealt with

Hydronephrosis is usually caused by increased pressure in the urinary tract. It can appear du to kidney stone or some inherited urinary tract problem.
I suggest you to consult urologist as soon as possible. Cystoscopy might be necessary.
