Question : hi...doctor i am also use skinlite creame the result is nice bt after my skin become very black how it is possible....plse tell me what haappend in my skin ...my skin is very black in that day..

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the problems you are facing after the use of skinlite cream.

I can get that you have used the cream on your own and the cream has caused irritation over your face.

Skinlite contains Tretinoin which can cause irritation and the steroid mometasone in it can cause rebound redness. I suggest you to stop the cream.

Do let me know if your face is totally red or have red patches along with darkness. Do also let me know if you feel any itching over the face.

Welcome back and thanks for the follow up.

In all your kind of cases the first and foremost thing is to stop the application of the skinlite cream.

Application of a mild steroid such as Desonide (Desowen lotion) or Fluticasone (Flutivate cream) application in day and night time is quite helpful. DO not apply beyond 7 days. For the irritation and itching an antihistamine tablet can be taken to reduce the same. I prefer to give Des-loratadine (Tab Dazit or Lorfast)for two times if itching is more.

Sun exposure can make the skin more darkened. The most important part is prevention of sun exposure at the best. This is the sole most important factor to prevent the further darkening of the skin. Use a good sunscreen for two times to prevent sun damage to the skin.
