Question : I am taking Zoloft 25mg and I don't think its treating my problem. I looked into Paranoia and it lead me to types of Schizophrenia. I know that is a more serious and life-long condition which can't be cured. I just want to know what is wrong with me. I have trouble completing tasks and my memory has worsened. Originally i was diagnosed with PTSD due to a trauma event in my life January 2015.

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

Difficulties with completing tasks, poor memory, depressed mood, and paranoia are all symptoms of clinical depression. This is best treated with an SSRI antidepressant such as Zoloft. Once the depression is treated, the paranoia will fade away. PTSD is also adequately treated adequately with Zoloft, so this was a good choice of medication for you.
