Question : Sir i m taking thyronorm 25 mg since last 4 months continually.but the level of TSH is increased from 14.08 to 15.18. What is to do ????

Brief Answer: Increase the dose of thyronorm. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXX, Hi! you have been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and need thyroxine replacement. the dose depends on your body weight and is around 1 mcg /kg/d. Now 25 mcg is actually less so your TSH increased further. Kindly adjust your dose as suggested, take it early morning and empty stomach. Repeat the test after 4 weeks and let me know. Regards!
