Brief Answer:
160/ 88 is nothing to be concerned about. Continue his blood pressure medic

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Though. The pressure reading are on the higher side, I would like to reassure you that there is no need to panic and at 160 /88, it would harm him at all.
If multiple reading at different times of day on multiple days are more than 140 / 80, you may consult your doctor to re adjust the medication.
Decrease salt in his diet and promote walking and some other basic exercise if he is comfortable doing so.

Hoping I could help.
