Question : My mother is 85 years old and takes several medications; however for the past two days she has become increasingly more dizzy. Should we be concerned? Her blood pressure is normal and she has not missed a pill.

I am sorry for the situation your mother is in.

I noted that you are monitoring her blood pressure (bp). Oscillations in her bp might cause her to feel dizzy

The medications she is taking should be also revised as they might cause dizziness. Can you please provide the full list of meds she is taking?

ENT examination (ear, throat ) is advised to check for possible inner ear problems.

We have since learned that she is complaining of sinus pressure so we are taking her in to check for sinus/ear infections. Thank you for your assistance.
