Drinking and urinating so much can be caused by diabetes. if he is not a known diabetic patient, I will suggest that he get tested for this. If he is a known diabetic, then he should check his numbers as this could be a sign of poorly controlled diabetes. This is the most common explanation for these symptoms though there are other possible causes such as diabetes insipid us. for now, let us address the most common and only look beyond if results are not obtained investigating diabetes mellitus first.
