                                    Brief Answer:
1st week there will be some weight loss.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. First week there will be some weight loss. After that only there will be gaining of weight. So your baby could have lost weight and gained and now equal to birth weight. Also premature babies may take 3 weeks for equalizing the birth weight. After that only normal weight gaining starts. So no need to worry in that case.
Give the baby breast feeding at least in 2 hour intervals and give warmth. Sucking of baby in such intervals will increase you breast milk production also.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
