Thanks for your query and your concern for your Father.

Your history says your Father M/52 has an Inguinal Hernia and you would like to discuss.

-Since how much time does your Father has a hernia?
-Has any General Surgeon seen, examined Him to decide the diagnosis ?
-Which side is the hernia- right or left?
-Is it an indirect type of hernia or a direct type?
-Is it symptomatic - meaning cause any obstruction , difficulty in reducing, cause any difficulty in urination or passing stool?
-Does your Father have any other associated problems like coughing / constipation or any other Medical or Surgical Problem ?
-I hope he is not diabetic or suffering from high blood pressure.
-Is the Surgery decided , the dates / type of surgery?
-Are the blood, urine, ECG, X-ray chest done and Physician's fit XXXXXXX for anesthesia and surgery taken ?
