Brief Answer:
Posthitis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to HCM
I understand your concern.
You have an infection of the foreskin and have developed phimosis which prevents you from drawing back the foreskin. The commonest cause of this is a fungal (yeast) infection. There can be a bacterial infection in addition. It has responded partially to Neosporin as there is an antifungal and a topical antibiotic in it.
You require to take an oral antifungal also. What I usually prescribe for my patients is Flucanazole.
Such infections are more common in people with diabetes. It would be advisable to get your blood sugar checked.

Brief Answer:
Check blood sugar fasting and 2 hours after meal

Detailed Answer:
The abnormality in diabetes is that the blood sugar is above the normal.
Some people get a reactive hypoglycemia, the blood sugar falls below normal following food.
You can Check your fasting blood sugar and a two hour post meal blood sugar to know if you have diabetes. Normal fasting blood sugar is 100mgs ( 5.6 mmol)and post meal upto 140mg (7.8). Diabetes is FBS equal to or more than 126mgs(7 mmol) or 200mg (11 mmol) any time after meal.

Brief Answer:
You can discontinue

Detailed Answer:
These are not of much help.
You can continue to use the neosporin. If you can get Flucanazole 150mg, a prescription medicine, it would help you very much. The dose is 150 mg once a week for 4 weeks.
I am located in Kuwait and am available on the net. Do get back to me with your test results.
You are most welcome and it shall be my pleasure to help you any time in the future, if you need me.
Wish you good health.

Brief Answer:
Check the strength on the tablet. Dose is 150 mg once a week

Detailed Answer:
Please check the strength on the pill. The dose is 150mg ( adult). If you have 50mg tablet meant for children, you need to take 3.
The dose I recommend my patients is 150 mg every week as a single dose for 4 weeks. That is 4 tablets over 4 weeks. This will clear it completely and prevent a relapse, in my experience.
You will feel better soon but it is better to clear it completely.
Your sexual partner should take a single dose of 150mg to avoid infection.
You should be able to be sexually active when your foreskin is able to move freely without pain.

Brief Answer:
Please visit your GP

Detailed Answer:
Today is only Monday and it would take some more time for the effect to come.
The white flakes are likely to be due to the moniliasis.
You can continue the neosporin ointment.
Now that the weekend is over, please show to your GP.
A direct clinical examination is definitely more informative than telemedicine.
Please let me know what your GP feels about the lesion.
Wish you a quick recovery
