Question : I am having areas of burning pain (1min to 20 min) that move around to different parts of my breasts and are intermittent and somewhat cyclic. From time to time I will have a short period (30 sec to 1 minute) of burning pain under one of my arms. I have always had fibrocyistic breasts but not this type of pain. It is uncomfortable but I could live with this but am concerned about cancer. I am 76 and basically healthy except for controlled Sarcoidosis.
Brief Answer:
Bilateral mammography test recommended.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
After hearing your history since you have burning pain in different areas of your breast I would advise you to do a bilateral mammography test.
If any space occupying lesion is seen in the mammography then biopsy has to be done to rule out cancer.
Hope I have answered your query.
