What Causes Intermittent Contraction Like Pain At The Pubic Bone?
Question: I had Kidney "gravel" and passed it about 35-40 years ago...I took Cranberry extract because i thought I was getting a urinarry tract infection and found releif.. last night and tonight Ive been drinking LOTS of water to keep flushing it through...I am peeing into a coffee filter to catch any stones... Otherwise I feel fine but stupidly I ate saurkraut and pork(boiled) so Im gassy too... the pain feels like a small contraction because it comes and goes...am I right!

You have pains above pubic bone, feels like small contractions as it comes and goes.
These can be due to gases as there is small bowel and sigmoid colon in the area of pelvis just above pubis.
Urinary tract infection with or without gravel/stone also can cause similar problems but then there may be other symptoms like burning urination, blood in urine, increased frequency also.

Continue taking plenty of oral fluids/water and cranberry juice.
