Dr. Hanif warmly Welcomes you!

Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns.

There are a lot of reasons for the feeling of heat in the body. Heat in the body is described by patients differently and may be a burning sensation of the feet, hands and burning below the ribs, on the areas of the stomach, burning eyes, heat through the mouth via breath.

It may be due to perimenopausal effects of the hormonal Imbalances in females.

Viral hepatitis or other diseases of the liver.

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and hyperacidity causing a burning sensation in the stomach and heartburn feelings in the esophagus.

Hyperthyroidism is very important disease causing extreme heat feeling and heat sensitivity.

Infections in the body may also cause it.

Drugs and medications cause heat in the body.

Diabetes causes heat in the body and paresthesias. It is very important in this age group chronic diabetics. Gastroparesis, peripheral neuropathy is also inter-linked to these paresthesias and feeling of heat in diabetics.

Final suggestion:-
Ask you physician for complete metabolic profile, Liver Viral hepatitis screening and Liver functions tests, Kidney function tests, Thyroid profile, and diabetes screening, GERD Screening and referring you to a Gastroenterologist.

You Gastroenterologist will run a battery of tests too to see what's going on in there. Gastroscopy is on top of them. Other investigations may also be needed. He may treat you according to the cause found in these follow up investigations.

Have a wonderful time ahead. Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have any further clinical concerns. I will be happy to get back to you shortly. If satisfied here, please give a five star rating and don't forget to close the discussion.
