Question : Hi I am feeling a fluttering inside my right ear. It comes and goes.

Brief Answer: Get ent consultation Detailed Answer: Hello, You have not written since how long you have this problem. If the problem is just for few days then you may require antibiotics and decongestants .As this abnormal sound might be because of cold.Because of cold the tube behind the nose which connects the middle part of ear gets blocked and there is blocked sensation and fluttering sound in the ear. At home you can take Steam inhalations. If the problem is for few months then - Get done an ENT consultation--- -To get examined -- there can be wax in ears so it is important that the ear drum is visible and is examined. -You need to get done Hearing tests. And it is important for your age also .There can be age related hearing loss and this abnormal sound. These tests can tell the kind of disease, as abnormal sound can be because of many reasons.
