Question : I have intermittent deep itching in my left heel. It is very uncomfortable when it is happening.

Hi and welcome to HCM.
This is common site of pain in elderly and in most cases it indicates inflammation or calcification of achilles tendon,gout pr neuropathy. you should do xrays first to rule out calcifications. if nothing is found you should do MRI. Till that check your blood sugar, calcium,vitamin d, uric acid. Try to avoid jumping and walking on stairs, apply cold compresses and take antiinflammatory painkillers such as ibuprofenum.
