                                            Allergic reactions(angioedema and urticaria)
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
I have gone through her photographs. It appears that she has developed allergic reactions in the form of angioedema and urticaria. There many allergens .It is difficult to say to which particular agent she is allergic. However treatment will remain as anti-histaminincs e.g levocetrizine,H2 receptor antagonist e.g ranitidine and a short course of cortico steroids e.g prednisolone. She will recover with that.A course of antibiotic is justified as her total WBC count is high. Please get her urine routine analysis done and if indicative of infection say pus cells > 5 /hpf,get urine culture and sensitivity tests also. Get her blood sugar Fasting & PP, and thyroid function tests such as serumT3,T4 & TSH done. Please let me know what treatment she is getting now.
Regards
