What Causes Intermittent Pulsating Sensation In My Upper Abdomen?
Question: I have a pulsating sensation in my upper abdomen. No other symptoms or pains. It's sparadic as well. It comes and goes. What is causing this

The possible causes are as follows;
Upper abdomen has abdominal aorta which is very large artery and its pulsations can get transmitted through the stomach and/or pancreas.
This can appear normally in thin and lean people.
Anxiety and anything related to the heart also can cause such pulsations.
But having such sensation needs the following to rule out any problem:
Clinical evaluation by a Doctor.
Relevant investigations, particularly Ultrasonography with color doppler of abdomen. This will solve the the problem by confirming or ruling out any possible pathology.
