Question : I am 55 years old and I have been having slight headaches for the last 2 weeks.. I have also been having leg cramps for the last 2 weeks. The cramp in my left leg is up my shin and causes my left foot to turn inward. I have to step on my foot until it stops. Then, this morning I was laying on my right side and turned to my left side and suddenly got very dizzy ( while lying down). When I opened my eyes, the pictures on the wall were going round and round. I closed my eyes then opened them and they were still moving. When I looked to the right side, everything was normal, but still moving when I looked to the left. I felt dizzy for a while, but the rest of the day has been normal. I don't know if it is related, but my hot flashes stopped about a year ago, and the last few months I've been having 5 or 6 a day. I don't have insurance, so I also don't have a doctor, can you shed any light?

Brief Answer:
Take treatment as advised and visit to a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Mild headache at this age may be tension type due to stress, exertion or decreased sleep. You can take amitryptiline for benefits along with pain killers.
Cramps in limbs are mostly due to electrolyte imbalance and you need to get blood investigation for serum calcium, vitamin D, blood sugar, serum potassium. You can take plenty of Fluids, fresh fruits and multivitamins with calcium for cramps.
The positional vertigo is due to benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. You need to visit a neurologist for examination and exercise advices.
You should avoid sleeping towards affected side.
You can take tab dizitac twice daily.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
