Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that it is important to perform a careful differential diagnosis between different disorder which could cause this symptomatology like:

-a metabolic disorder (such as thyroid imbalance, diabetes, adrenal gland dysfunction, etc.)
-a chronic inflammatory disease
-an autonomic dysfunction
-a chronic infection disease (such as brucelosis, malaria, endocarditis, HIV infection, Tuberculosis, etc.)
-a cancer (lymphoma or any other cancer)
-heart failure
-some drugs could lead to increased sweating

Do you have any other symptoms like chest pain, fever or articulation pain, chronic fatigue, difficulty breathing, etc?

Are you taking any drugs?

A careful physical examination and some tests are needed to investigate for the possible cause:

-resting ECG and cardiac ultrasound to examine your cardiac function and structure
-chest X ray study
-abdominal ultrasound
-blood lab tests (complete blood count, thyroid hormone levels, PCR, sedimentation rate, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, fasting glucose, cortisol plasma levels, etc.).

Tests for possible infectious diseases may be needed if suspicions are raised.

If all the above mentioned tests result normal, it may be just a dysfunction of your sweat glands related to aging. In such case, there is nothing to worry about.

You should discuss with your attending physician on the above mentioned issues.

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Greetings!
