Question : I have an intermittent throbbing pain in my left temple - also the area feels a bit strange - should I see a doctor
Brief Answer:
hi and welcome.
Detailed Answer:
Several possible causes can lead to these symptoms but I don't see any emergency. It can be neuralgia and it means that trigeminal or facial nerve is irritated and inflammed. Pain can be suppressed with resting, nonsteroid painkillers and warm compresses. Also ,you should avoid noise, smoky areas, coldness. Other possible causes are temporal arteritis, migraines and if those measures don't work, you should see neurologist. Wish you good health. Regards
