Question : recently my lower jaw has begun to shake or quiver. I am 73 years old and am not taking medications normally. I recently was prescribed Terbinafine HCL 250 mg and will be on it for a total of 3 months.
Brief Answer:
there are no reported side effects of tremors due to terbinafine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to HCM,
Terbinafine is an antifungal agent but there are no reported side effects of tremors.
Are you on any other medication?
If not, this is probably senile (age related) tremors that can occur in any part of the body.
Is there a family history of tremors?
There are good medications for this. You can discuss with your family PCP/Family doctor.
You can revert back.
