Detailed Answer:
Hello,
From your description, first possibility is of stroke only especially if she is having weakness of any limb or facial deviation, which lead to seizures and seizures leading to foaming from mouth. The likely cause for the stroke is blood clot from the heart as she has irregular heart rhythm. This irregular heart rhythm is called as atrial fibrillation and it leads to formation of clot in heart and which may get dislodged and cause stroke. Atrial fibrillation is common in old age, hypertensive patients.
Another possibility, this may be seizures disorder per se without stroke which can lead to all above manifestation especially if no weakness or facial deviation.
Next step she should undergo ct scan, if not adequately informative she ll need mri, if either are normal then eeg may be necessary to look for seizure disorder. She should also echo to look for blood clot and other associated cardiac problem. These investigations should come to diagnosis.
In treatment, she should get antiplatelets like Aspirin after ruling out brain hemorrhage by ct scan, anti seizures medicine like levetiracetam or other med which I guess she must be receiving. Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts or any more information to share like investigations report.

My aunt has already had an ct scan and MRI. she also has COPD and diabetes. I know that she takes insulin. She first had a severe headache that lasted for awhile we initially thought it was sinuses or a migraine. This was about 2 weeks ago. The headache never quite went completely away. She was rushed to the hospital on Saturday due to vision lost and the severe headache. She is still having this headache and sudden vision and blurry vision. Then it comes back.

Is she a hypertensive?
What are the reports of these tests, they must be suggesting some possibilities, have they rule out minor bleeding in posterior part of brain.
There are other possibilities to be considered if stroke, bleeding is ruled out, like PRESS syndrome usually occurs in hypertensive patients, ocular migraine which would explain all her features. Her sugars and ketones in the bood should be tested in order to rule out diabetic ketoacidosis. Occular examination should also be done to rule out retinal detachment and vitreous hemorrhage. So you can discuss these issues with your doctors.
Also, it's better if you can upload the scan repots and examination findings of the neurologist over there so as to give better opinion from all round assessment.

I am hoping to get those results today and the EEG shows only that she is having seizures or tremors. I will ask the Neurologist to run these other tests
