Question : Im 21 and ive been on the depo shot for about 2 years. I was supposed to get my refill in early February but I didn't go and stopped it all together, around late April I got my period and it was a brown color and I assumed it was normal and that it would go away after this first time back on my period, it's late May now and I started my period with brown, chunky like menstrual discharge...is it normal that it's chunky or should I be worried? And how long could this last? And if it continues, about how long do you think it stops being normal?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Periods and menstrual cycle are irregular and scanty for about6 months after stopping the depo shots.
There is nothing to worry in your case, and I suggest you to wait for 2-3 months more for the periods to become normal.
