Brief Answer:
wean off your kid from breastfeeding

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Usually periods resume within 6-9 months after delivery but can be a little delayed in females who give exclusive breastfeed to the baby.
So as your child is already 1 year old you can steadily withdraw from breastfeeding over 10-14 days and then wait for periods.
In case you don't get periods in 3-4 weeks after stopping the breastfeeding then do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
If test is negative then take tablet norethisterone 5 mg thrice a day for 3 days and on stopping the drug you will get your periods in 3-5 days.
This is a prescription drug and thus visit a gynecologist for routine examination and prescription.
Take care
