Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
Period maybe delayed due to so many causes other than pregnancy.
As you are not having any unprotected sex there is no chance of pregnancy.
Stress, anxiety, weight changes, diet changes, hormonal changes, thyroid disorder, fibroid, infection etc.
Are you on any medication?
Have you done any investigation?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.
Regards

                                    Brief Answer:
Yes,it may cause delay in menses.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for the reply.
As you are having thyroid under control and you are having iron deficiency anaemia,it can also cause delayed menses due to low haemoglobin.
But as you were having pain in last month cycle,it is better get your ultrasound test done to rule out PCOD or ovarian cyst.
Period maybe delayed due to mild hormonal changes also.
So wait and watch for your menses for 7-10 days.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.

                                    Brief Answer:
At least after 2-3 months.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
It will take 2-3 months at least for iron tablets to see the difference in your haemoglobin level.
And as everything is normal, period may become regular in 2-3 months.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
