Question : Hello, I am 38 year old female. XXXXXXX 02-June 06 I had pain on my left side. It went away XXXXXXX 7th. Then on XXXXXXX 20th I get my period. Now, July 02-03 when I urinate after I wipe I have blood spots on my toilet paper. The color is bright red. I dont have any pain when I urinate. What do you think it is?

Irregular bleed can have many reasons.

It can be hormonal or otherwise.

Did you have unprotected sex?

Do you have irregular periods before?

hello, what is frequent irregular menses? I have been married for 10 years. Yes we have unprotected sex but not in the last couple of weeks. I do have an IUD, paraguard in.

If you had IUD the no need to worry about pregnancy .

But IUD themselves cause irregular menses. This might be cause of your bleed.

Frequent Irregular menses means one that comes twice or thrice a month out of expected dates.

If it is too discomforting i will advice you to get IUD removed and then use some other contraceptive like condoms.

Also can you feel the IUD thread ? If not then get a sonography asap and let me know.
