Brief Answer:
Possible Ovarian disease? Needs confirmation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam,

I understand your query and concern.

Irregular periods could be secondary to hormonal imbalance.

So I advise you to get an Ultrasound (preferably a transvaginal ultrasonography) to look for any cysts in the ovary.

Based on the findings, the need for therapy can be considered.

Once diagnosed using of Oral contraceptive pills for 3-6 months will regularize your periods.

Also, I advise you to check Blood sugar levels, since many women tend to have impaired glucose tolerance. For this I generally treat my patients with oral tablets of Metformin. I suggest you to please see a doctor if his views are same and if can prescribe these drugs for you.

Meanwhile, I advise you to follow below instructions:

1. Drink 3-4 liters of water.

2. Exercise 20-30 min a day.

3. Fiber rich diet like oatmeal, Chapati, fruit juices and vegetable salads will be helpful.

4. Avoid fatty food and oily stuff.

Post your further queries if any,

Thank you.
