Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
In skin conditions, physical examination is essential for diagnosis because the treatment will depend upon the right cause.
It would be really helpful if you could send a picture of the rash so I can give you a better judgement.
It is possible to be eczema and it may need some stronger steroid cream and in this case you could use the Desoximetasone twice a day for 5 days.Apply only a thin layer of cream.
If the rash doesn't seem to go away ,it might be a fungal infection and need an antifungal cream (miconazol ,clotrimazole or ketoconazole topical) that can be found otc as Nizoral,Monistat ,Lotrimin.
Hope it helps.
Let me know if you can send a picture.
Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
