Question: Hello Doctor, I am 27 years old male. I am suffering from high allergy symptoms these days. Too itchy and red watery eyes and running nose. coughing sometimes. I am not able to identify the main cause but most probably its because of weather. I live in XXXXXXX I have been taking Montaire LC on and off for last 3 years according to need. From last 15 days i am facing these issues a lot. I am taking this tablet daily and using Ocurest-AH eye drops but still not getting well. Mostly it occurs when I am home or Mall and more in night and early morning. Please suggest do i need to change medicine or anything which helps.

Brief Answer:
Allergic Rhinitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. Change to Montair FX, a steroid nasal spray (such as fluitcasone + azelastine) and regular steam inhalation. All these once a day for at least two weeks. Hypertonic saline nasal washes can also be used.

2. Get your allergy tests (such as ImmunoCap, Food Print) and IgE levels done. A Hemogram, ESR and Absolute eosinophil Count (AEC) should also be done.

3. From your history, avoid sudden temperature changes, rule out chronic sinusitis and check for dust mite allergy.

4. Upload the details about response to medication and the test results for further discussion on treatment options.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I'll be available to answer them.

Regards.
