Brief Answer:
itchiness of anus

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

The most common reason for itchiness of the anus after passing stool is fissure in ano. I strongly recommend that you approach a surgeon to rule it out. The other common cause for this is worm infestation, I suggest you de worm yourself with tab albendazole, single tablet to be taken after food.

This is how you should go about it

1. syrup lactulose 10 ml at night to make your stools softer, harder stools tend to irritate the anus more than soft stools
2. De worm yourself with tab albedazole
3. If symptoms persists please approach a surgeon to rule out fissure

I hope I was of help,'if you have any further queries please get back to me

Hello

Thanks for getting back

You have been put on right treatment for it. Along with this I also suggest

1. To drink plenty of water, atleast 3 litres a day
2. Add fiber to your diet. Fruits and vegetables are ideal way to add fiber to your diet
3. Make sure not to strain too much while passing stools, it will worsen the fissure

I hope I was of help
