What Causes Itching Along With Skin Crack In Area Around The Anal Region?
Question: Hi, i have been having this itchy ass crack from last 40-50 days. Everytime i scratch i see blood.
I am 27 years old male What could be the cause? what are the general medicines that can be applied or used?
Also the problem doesn't remain always, it happens at certain times. i am unable to make a relation to when i see the problem. But i believe it can be related to my diet or lifestyle.

Hi
Itching along with a skin crack in the area around the anal region can be suggestive of a fungal infection of the area called candida infection.
You should apply a topical antifungal cream like canestan or candid cream over the affected area twice a day.
Keep the affected area clean and dry by washing it with lukewarm saline water twice a day and drying it before application of the medicine.
Take some oral antihistamine tablet along like tablet claritin once a day or benadryl in the adult dosage.
You need to take this treatment for two weeks continously for complete cure.
Wear cotton undergarments so as to decrease sweating.

Btw i wanted to point that everytime i use water around the ass when taking bath it aggrevates the itch.
So would it be the same issue that you are pointing?
also i am based in XXXXXXX so if u can suggest some medicine names that would be great.
