Brief Answer:
Fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.

Probably you have developed fungal infection.
Groin area is very common for such infections.
I treat such cases with a combination of oral and topical antifungal medication.

Capsule itraconazole 200 mg twice daily for a week and ointment clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for a month works well. You can use these in consultation with your doctor after confirming diagnosis as these medicines have side effects.

If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.

Waiting for your response.
Thank you.
