Thanks for writing to us.
Area between legs is warm and prone to friction, sweat and trapped moisture. Such environment is optimum for fungus,bacteria etc to thrive and cause itching.
In such cases ,below mentioned suggestions should help
1) wear loose cotton underclothes
2) Avoid wearing tight and thick fabric clothes like denims
3) always XXXXXXX the area dry after bathing
4) dust the area with antifungal powder like clotrimazole or terbinafine dusting powder as it would absorb sweat, reduce friction and also prevent fungal growth
5) if there are any visible red macerated lesions or red well defined dry scaly lesions, apply a steroid antifungal cream twice in a day( candid b cream)

currently am using candid powder. is it fine to continue with this after bath and also to start using candid b cream

If despite using candid powder, you are having itching please start using candid b cream twice in a day. Also take oral levocetrizine 5 mg once or twice in a day to alleviate itching.
