Question : My daughter is 5 months old.for last 3 days she is going on scratching her ears.doctor prescribed t minic sensing to be allergy however as it was not available the pharmacist gave wikoryl.can I give it?

Thanks for writing to us.
Both t minic and wikoryl have different composition ( with and without paracetamol).
Stick to your doctor advice or give plain cetrizine.
This is a over the counter anti allergic medicine.
This is what I prescribe routinely for such patients in my clinic.
Consult your doctor again if there is no improvement.

the doctor assumes it could be allergy.I am putting solearwax drops in her ears but the itching hasn't stopped.Please if you could recommend any medicine? also if you could confirm if cetrazine drops can be given to 5 month old baby?

I usually prescribe 0.3 ml twice daily.
Yes you can give.
No other medicine required. If no improvement she needs re examination of the ears.
