Brief Answer:
Urticaria

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Tab Livosiz-M contains Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride (5mg), Montelukast (10mg) and is commonly prescribed for urticaria. Zentel is a de-worming drug and is prescribed in urticaria as intestinal helminthiasis is often the cause of urticaria.

Since you continue to have urticaria, you have to continue Tab Livosiz-M for a longer period. A short course of steroid e.g Deflazacort (standard dose 6 mg orally daily with breakfast for 5-7 days) along with oral Ranitidine (H2 receptor antagonist) 150-300 mg daily, in addition will help. Meanwhile an absolute blood eosinophil count won't be out of place.

Also try to find out the possible allergen, say any food item (usually protein or peanuts etc) which aggravates or initiate urticaria and if that is so, try to avoid the offending agent.

Regards
