Brief Answer:
Can be fungal infection causing itching sensation !!!

Detailed Answer:
Warm Welcome. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.

I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

I feel sorry for the health worries you have. Itching on thighs and around the belt areas may be due to fungal infection. It is the moist area of body and "Tinea - the Fungus" likes to infect this area very easily. Hairy skin areas are usually affected by this fungus. We name this disease as Jock Itch and is manageable with proper care.

You need to apply CLOTRIMAZOLE + HYDROCORTISONE ointment on cleaned and dried up skin areas of the affected sites. Take by mouth FEXOFENADINE and ACETAMINOPHEN after meals for better results and fast recovery. Wear cotton-only undergarments and loose clothings. Take a shower with lukewarm water and use OATMEAL MILK AND HONEY BODY WASH. It will sooth the skin areas affected.

As far as numbness and burning peripheral parts is concerned, you need to consult your Physician to screen you for diabetes mellitus as this can be due to peripheral neuropathy due to diabetes or some other neurologic disease affecting peripheral nerves.

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).
